1 sector, 4 roles

EWIS

Senior EWIS architecture

Interconnection architecture, wiring harnesses and wiring diagrams: routing, segregation, identification, bonding/grounding, EMI/EMC, zonal analyses (ZSA/EZAP), electrical load analysis. SEE Electrical / IGE+XAO. CS-29 practices transferable to CS-25 Subpart H (25.1701–25.1731, AMC 20-22).

CVE

Compliance verification (EASA Part 21J)

CVE within the Airbus Helicopters DOA from 2020 to 2024 (organisation-bound authorization): independent verification and signature of compliance documents. Quickly re-authorizable under your DOA procedures, in-house or external.

SDR

Electrical system design responsible

System Design Responsible for a complete electrical system: requirements, architecture, justification, interfaces, testing — most recently blade ice protection (ATA 30).

PM

Aerospace project management

Leading innovative developments from concept to prototype: pilot head-worn display (augmented reality), electro-optical system, kick-off of an unmanned aircraft programme.

02 — CERTIFICATION & STANDARDS

Experience serving a range of standards

Regulatory framework

  • EASA Part 21 Subpart J — Design Organisation Approval (DOA)
  • Independent verification — 21.A.239(d)(2)
  • Compliance documents & compliance statements
  • ICA & Service Bulletins — written, verified and signed
  • Certification programme (21.A.15(b)) · Level of Involvement
  • Means of Compliance MC0–MC9

Certification bases

  • CS-29 — large rotorcraft (home ground: Airbus Helicopters)
  • CS-25 — generation/distribution practised (2013-2016); Subpart H EWIS framework mastered (AMC 20-22)
  • Working knowledge of FAR 25 / 29 (14 CFR)
  • Direct exchanges with international regulatory bodies (CAAC)

Standards & methods

  • DO-160G — environmental qualification
  • Segregation, bonding/grounding, EMI/EMC, wiring lightning protection
  • Zonal analysis ZSA / EZAP
  • Electrical load analysis · ATA 24 · ATA 92
  • Tooled reviews: scripted checklists Python / VBA
03 — CAREER

My experience, a harness running across thirteen years

REV F2026 — TODAYFREELANCE ASSIGNMENT

Senior EWIS architect — Airbus Helicopters

Production of wiring diagrams and interconnection architectures. Training and mentoring of young EWIS engineers. Structuring the kick-off of a new unmanned aircraft programme.

REV E2025 — 2026TWO PARALLEL FREELANCE ASSIGNMENTS

System design responsible & project manager — Airbus Helicopters

System Design Responsible for a blade ice protection electrical system: requirements, architecture, justification. Project manager for the development of an electro-optical system (EOS) prototype.

REV D2024 — 2025FREELANCE

Project manager — Airbus Helicopters

Leading the development of a pilot head-worn display system (augmented reality): schedule, costs, milestones, cross-functional coordination. Founded my engineering company (March 2024).

REV C2020 — 2024EMPLOYEE

Compliance Verification Engineer (CVE) — Airbus Helicopters

Independent verification of compliance demonstrations and signature of compliance documents (electrical systems & installation), on the basis of which the DOA submits its compliance statements to EASA. Signature of flight authorizations, disposition of non-conformities, advisory notes to STC holders, contribution to major incident resolution, validation of certification tests. Wrote, verified and signed ICA (Instructions for Continued Airworthiness), including Service Bulletins. Compliance verification of modifications, both minor and major classification.

REV B2016 — 2020EMPLOYEE

EWIS architect — Airbus Helicopters

System architecture studies: feasibility, cost/schedule estimation. Production of wiring diagrams (SEE Electrical / IGE+XAO), routing, segregation, identification. Selection of components, connectors and wires integrating zonal analyses (ZSA/EZAP) and EMI/EMC constraints. Authored Electrical Load Analyses (ELA), equipment development, customer support.

REV A2013 — 2016APPRENTICESHIP

Electrical generation & distribution engineer — Airbus Helicopters

Development of equipment and simulation assets (hardware & software) for demonstration, research, certification and failure investigation.

EDUCATION
2016ISEN TOULON

Master's-level engineering degree — Electrical engineering & industrial computing

Embedded systems & microelectronics. In partnership with ITII PACA.

2013IUT DE NÎMES

DUT — Electrical engineering & industrial computing

Automation & networks.

04 — WHAT SETS ME APART
AUTO

Tooled compliance reviews

Dual electrical + software skill set (Python, VBA): automated extraction and checking of wiring data, scripted compliance checklists, absorption of large volumes of drawings — a capacity multiplier for a design office or a DOA at peak load.

MENTOR

Passing on the EWIS craft

I currently train young engineers in EWIS architecture at Airbus Helicopters: structured skill development, cross reviews, design best practices. A senior profile that raises the team, not just the output.
